A highly successful, fast-growing global Real Estate & Construction Consultancy is expanding its renowned Cost Management division in the North West. With thriving offices in both Liverpool and Manchester, the firm has built a strong market reputation supported by an impressive portfolio of landmark UK and international projects.
Due to sustained growth and a strong pipeline of major upcoming commissions, the business is seeking an accomplished Chartered Quantity Surveyor (MRICS) with proven experience delivering schemes within the Healthcare sector. Applications are welcomed from both full-time and part-time professionals, with flexible working arrangements available to suit individual circumstances.
This is considered one of the standout cost-management roles in the region-offering the chance to join a respected consultancy with exceptional leadership, a collaborative culture, and the scale, stability, and ambition to support long-term career progression.

The Role
As a Chartered Cost Manager / PQS, you will play a pivotal role in advising and delivering cost management services across a diverse range of healthcare projects-including acute hospital developments, clinical refurbishments, community healthcare facilities, and major capital investment programmes.
The role can be structured on a full-time or part-time basis, with workload, project responsibilities, and working patterns tailored accordingly, while maintaining exposure to high-quality, career-defining projects.
While healthcare will be your core focus, you will also have opportunities to contribute to commissions across commercial, residential, education, and public-sector portfolios-providing genuine variety and the opportunity to broaden your professional footprint within a globally recognised practice.
Key responsibilities include:
• Leading all aspects of pre- and post-contract cost management on healthcare projects of varying scale and complexity
• Preparing robust cost plans, feasibility studies, and strategic commercial advice from early design stages
• Managing procurement strategies, tendering processes, contractor negotiations, and contract administration (NEC / JCT)
• Delivering proactive risk, value, and change management throughout project lifecycles
• Acting as a trusted advisor to NHS Trusts, private healthcare providers, and public-sector clients
• Supporting, mentoring, and developing junior team members (role dependent on working pattern)
• Contributing to business growth through sector insight and high-quality project delivery
This role is ideally suited to a Chartered Quantity Surveyor (MRICS) with a minimum of three years' post-qualification experience, strong stakeholder management skills, and a demonstrable track record within the healthcare environment. You will be ambitious, professional, and motivated to deliver high-quality outcomes-whether working full-time or part-time.
This is a rare opportunity to deliver socially significant, meaningful projects while being supported by a consultancy with the scale, resources, and reputation to take your career to the next level.

What's on Offer
You will benefit from a market-leading rewards package, including:
•£60,000 - £70,000 (FTE, DOE)
• Salary, bonus, and benefits pro-rated for part-time roles
• Car allowance (pro-rated where applicable)
• Generous annual bonus
• Above-market pension scheme
• Full private healthcare
• Agile / hybrid working
• Outstanding career development within a rapidly expanding business
• Exposure to an exceptional portfolio of high-profile, high-impact projects
If you are an MRICS-qualified Quantity Surveyor with strong healthcare sector experience-and you are seeking a full-time or part-time role within a thriving consultancy offering genuine flexibility, market presence, and exceptional benefits-this opportunity truly stands out from the crowd.
