Our client is a leading manufacturer and supplier, known for its strong presence in the Nuclear market. Due to a recent surge in new contracts, they are looking to expand their team with a skilled and dedicated Project Buyer.

What you'll be doing?
· You'll work with Engineering to agree material specifications and confirm that material will be sourced in a reasonable time and cost.
· Identify critical/ safety related lead items and ensure sufficient early supplier engagement
· Manage subcontractor/ supplier contract lifecycle and mitigate risks that could contribute to supply chain disruptions
· Ensure decisions are based on data, benchmarking and relevant consultation
What you'll be need?
· Knowledge of Project life cycles, timelines, budgets and how procurement integrates with Project Delivery
· 3-5 years in purchasing position
· BA Degree or working towards MCIPS or MCIPS Qualified
· Experience in Nuclear, Energy or Construction desirable
· NEC3/4 knowledge would be desirable
