Type: Temporary contract (up until Christmas)- with potential to extend depending on workload
Location: Deeside
Hours: Monday-Friday 8-4pm//08.30-16.30//9-5pm
Russell-Taylor Group have a fantastic opportunity for a Sample Preparation Laboratory Assistant to join our clients global testing company on a temporary basis. This type of role is perfect for a school/college leaver or someone that has worked in a fast-paced hospitality/retail industry.
Responsibility & requirements
- Picking and shifting samples - These can be up to 25kg, so you need to be comfortable lifting and shifting this weight
- Finding and delivering samples
- Preparation of sample
- Disposal of samples
- A science background is desirable but not essential - If you do not have A level (or higher) Chemistry qualifications, experience of working in a fast paced, production environment is required
- Working in a fast-paced environment- need to be able to be on your feet throughout the duration of the shift
- Ideally need own transport as it can be difficult to get to site
- Motivated and hard working
Excellent bit of experience to put on your CV to show you have worked in an industrial setting.
