My client is a refurbishment building contractor that are very well established in the marketplace. Due to increase business workloads, they require an Senior Estimator to join the pre-construction team. This would suit an experienced Senior Estimator that would like to further develop or progress their career.
The Senior Estimator they are looking for have around 5 years' experience in construction. You will be joining a busy forward-thinking contractor. This is an exciting role that could suit Estimator coming from a similar SME Business looking to take the step into a Senior Estimator.
As a business they cover a variety of sectors with strong stable long-term clients. Sectors include Education, Commercial and heritage sectors. With many blue chip clients on their books.
As an Senior estimator you will preparing procurement of subcontractors and supplier tender packages, ensuring you get the most competitive accurate quotes. Cover all relevant information subcontractor quotes at tender adjudication. Provide support to clients with budgets where required and look source negotiated and repeat business.
You will be an excellent communicator with contract delivery team, ensuring we are using the best and most competitive suppliers. To work on take offs and supply tender documents to win more tenders for the business. They do work with some new build so experience up to around 6 million would be advantageous for the position.
