Role: Microbiology Quality Assurance Officer
Location: Merseyside
Salary: DoE
Type: Permanent / Full-Time
My client are a global specialist in the development & production of microbiological diagnostic devices, & have a vacancy within their QA division. This is an excellent opportunity to move into full time QA.
Role:
- Ensuring the correct procedures are followed for customer complaints, within appropriate time-scales
- Using technical understanding of diagnostic microbiology & company product range
- Using problem-solving techniques such as; Root-Cause & CAPA
- Keeping strong records for all investigations
- Producing regular KPI reports of completed customer complaints for review meetings
- Operating company QMS
- Planning & prioritising own workload
- Assisting in internal/external audits
- Upholding GMP, ISO9001, 13485 standards/regulations across the company
- Attending quality & regulatory courses as/when required
Candidate:
- Life Science or related degree, preferably within Microbiology
- Previous experience within a Quality Assurance capacity or RA
- Understanding of ISO 9001 & ISO 13485 or GMP/ Pharmaceutical
- Excellent record keeping skills & written English
- Willing to attend training courses
