We are excited to be recruiting for our client, a well-established and globally renowned Chemical Packaging and Manufacturing organisation. This role is due to continued expansion across the site with new business wins and new distribution centres in Europe.

Your New Role

In your role as the Supply Chain Coordinator you will be responsible for planning and procuring indirect spend product categories, maintaining the product and pricing database for all purchased materials and supporting the Supply Chain Planner with direct spend. You role will also manage the inventory and supply of raw materials for all our specific sites. You will also heavily support the logistics function of coordinating incoming and outgoing deliveries.

Your Key Responsibilities

Order/stock maintenance and contracts for of all indirect spend such as manufacturing consumables, lab equipment, cleaning supplies etc.

Process with all orders and invoice queries regarding pricing and receipts

Creation of SAP material codes and contracts for raw materials, packaging and equipment

Checks stock levels and order raw materials, packaging and bases in an accurate, safe and efficient manner, ensuring they adhere to government, corporate, and site regulations, rules and guidelines.

Support creation and maintenance of all departmental SOP's.

Generation of KPI/compliance/regulatory reports.

Gathering and maintaining all supply chain and logistics data, as well as ensuring any missing documents are requested from our suppliers.

SAP data management.

Back up for supply chain planner on raw material ordering and production planning during holidays/sickness.

Back up and support for logistics department; this will require supporting shipping for month end sales and to cover holidays/sickness.

Previous Experience You Will Have

  • 3 years working in supply chain, logistics, import/export role (Chemicals, FMCG or Packaging would be ideal)
  • Worked on SAP as an ERP System
