Russell Taylor Group in line for top business award A major business award beckons for Russell Taylor Group for its major contribution to the economy.

The company has been named as a finalist in the prestigious Wirral Business Awards 2016 in the category of Business of the Year (11-49 employees).

Now in its 10th year, Wirral Business Awards is one of the largest business events in the North West and recognises the positive impact local businesses make on the growth of both the national and international economy as well as recognising enterprise and excellence.

Russell Taylor Group managing director Ben Russell said: “In its short history, Russell Taylor Group has grown from its family business origins – set up as a partnership between my father Peter Russell and myself – to the successful organisation it is today with a staff of 49 and a turnover of more than £15 million.

“However, with our roots still firmly placed in Wirral and, with further exciting expansion plans for the future, we are delighted to have been named as a finalist in these prestigious awards which celebrate the achievements of local businesses, their excellence and innovation.”

Winners of the Wirral Business Awards 2016 will be announced at a gala awards ceremony and dinner at Thornton Manor on Friday, September 16.
