Russell Taylor Group has further expanded its sector portfolio to strengthen its position in the global technical recruitment market.

Via its new Scientific Division, the company is enhancing the Russell Taylor brand with a new team of specialist recruiters servicing areas covering Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Clinical, Drug Development, Contract Testing, Certification, Chemical and Medical Devices

The business, with national headquarters in Bromborough, Wirral, already operates on a national and international platform in Manufacturing, Construction Management, Technical & Engineering, Construction & Civils Trades and Industrial Trades.

Heading up the new division is Tom Hammond, 30, who comes from a strong technical sales/retention background with a vast understanding of the science marketplace.

Ben Russell, chief executive of Russell Taylor Holdings Ltd, said: “The creation of our new Scientific Division comes at an exciting time for everyone operating within the UK’s scientific sector, particularly after the announcement in the government’s autumn budget to pledge an extra £2bn a year for R&D - great news for the national economy and for the scientific recruitment industry.

“This new division will make a great contribution to our own business growth and its conception comes at a time of major developments at Russell Taylor Group which has just had its best ever trading year and seen sales staff double to service demand from clients seeking to recruit staff and candidates looking for jobs.”
