ANOTHER major award is within the grasp of Russell Taylor Group as the company celebrates being named as a finalist in the West Cheshire and North Wales Chamber of Commerce 2022 Recognition Awards.

To be chosen as winner of the Made a Difference Award category, judges will be looking for the organisation that’s made a difference to social well-being where the business is based by “going above and beyond” in support for the local community.

Last year Russell Taylor Group was winner of two categories in the awards – Business of the Year and Young Person of the Year, presented to Isaac Hayes, the Industrial Trades Division’s labour co-ordinator.

Company chairman Peter Russell said: “Changing lives for the better in our local community is an important part of a culture that spreads throughout the Russell Taylor Group operation.

“It’s an attitude that embraces every level of our workforce and challenges staff to champion initiatives that truly make a difference – from groundbreaking partnerships with community groups which are setting young people on the road to employment to supporting charities and good causes.”

Winners of the West Cheshire and North Wales 2022 Recognition Awards will be announced at the annual ball and awards ceremony in the Pavilion at Chester Racecourse on Friday, November 11.
