What will you be doing?
·Developing, maintaining and optimising project schedules using Primavera P6
·Producing robust programme, cost and resource plans for live projects and bids
·Managing project plans across a portfolio of complex engineering projects
·Analysing progress, performance data and schedule risk
·Preparing clear planning reports for technical and non-technical stakeholders
·Supporting change control, impact assessments and mitigation planning
·Working closely with project managers, engineers, clients and suppliers
·Ensuring programmes are contract-compliant and aligned with NEC requirements
·Identifying delays, opportunities and recovery actions early
Where you'll be doing it
You'll be based in Sheffield with hybrid working. The business operates across the Energy, Nuclear and Industrial manufacturing sectors, delivering control systems for highly regulated environments. With a long-established presence and international reach, they work on large, technically complex projects where strong planning really matters.
What you'll need
·A relevant Project Management qualification (or working towards one)
·Strong experience planning complex engineering or construction projects
·Proven use of Primavera P6 (MS Project or Asta also considered)
·Experience with NEC contracts
·Solid understanding of WBS, critical path analysis, EVM and resource loading
·Confidence producing and challenging project performance data
·Strong communication skills, including with non-technical stakeholders
·A degree in Science, Engineering or a similar discipline
