Job Description
Provide Electrical Engineering duties in support of project and business needs.
Manage and maintain applications of present and developing technology, performing engineering design, and supporting manufacture & commissioning.
Use engineering knowledge and understanding to deliver projects or services using established and emerging technologies and methods.
Assist with work that is allocated by others, with some responsibility for time and cost management.
Present work at project reviews both within the business and to the client.
Use a sound evidence-based approach to problem-solving and contribute to continuous improvement and quality standards
Qualifications
Degree level qualification in an appropriate engineering discipline
Membership of an appropriate engineering institution.
Ideally a minimum of two years post-graduate experience working in an engineering design capacity.
Experience designing motor control systems using an electrical design software package to produce schematics, schedules, parts list, component layout and associated deliverables.
Desireable
Preferred:
Experience working in a well regulated industry.
Experience of BS 7671, BS 60204, BS 13849.
