My client is a property development company based in North Wales. They work across a diverse range of building projects including new build homes in Cheshire, Shropshire and Liverpool.
Due to continued success they are looking to appoint an Operations Manager to the senior management team.
The company work as a developer and employ a main contractor to build their developments.
As the business has grown they now have a need for someone to join the team to take both a commercial and operational view of developments and manage the team.
The person they are looking to recruit would be involved from the initial Land acquisition stage giving advice on potential build costs on particular sites. They would also be procuring the main contractor for the build and maintaining relationships with both the client and the contractors. Above all the Operations manager will be looking out for the company's interests contractually. The company do not have a large team there so the successful candidate will be managing the Site Manager and work closely with the Land Acquisition team.
This position would ideally suit someone who has worked as part of a commercial team in their early career or perhaps trained as a QS that has some Project Management experience and site knowledge.
The role would be ideal for a candidate looking to base themselves with a successful local contractor in North Wales with a variety of interesting projects to work across.
In return for your skills and experience the company will offer an excellent basic salary together with an attractive package including 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, Company car/ allowance, 10% pension scheme, 4x salary life cover, Health care and a 37.5 hour working week.
