Packaging Manager (Pharmaceutical Manufacturing) £35,000

Are you looking for a new and fresh career move? We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our client; the UKS largest manufacturer of their tablets/capsules/liquid medication. They have a state of the art facility based in the North West and have a policy of ongoing, large capital investment in to their packaging department to ensure they remain ahead of their competitors and provide their customers with only the very best.

We are looking for a GMP experienced Packaging Manager to join our clients organisation and continue to deliver exceptional quality packaging to their loyal global customer base.

Your Role

To provide leadership, direction and management to the Packaging Department

To lead, train, motivate and develop the Packaging team

To provide relevant technical support and guidance both within Packaging and cross functionally as required

To lead the improvement of Packaging activities and to support and participate in wider improvements of the business.

To ensure that the weekly and monthly productions plans are met or exceeded.

Lead improvement activities within Packaging and participate in wider improvement activities within the business.

Meet objectives set and carry out any other duties as directed by senior management

Previous Experience

Experience with high speed automated packaging equipment - Blister lines, bottle filling, etc

Significant continuous improvement skills to include people, processes and equipment

Significant relevant managerial and leadership experience ideally within a Pharmaceutical/GMP environment.

Knowledge of pharmaceutical Operations and regulations governing them.

A Degree level, or equivalent, in a science or business discipline

Contractual Benefits

Salary £30,000 - £35,000 DOE

Monday - Friday (hours negotiable must be flexible to the needs of the business) 40 Hour Week

25 Days Holiday plus Bank Holidays

4.5% Pension Contribution
