Quality Engineer (Construction Manufacturing)

Flintshire

Days Based role

As part of the exciting growth within this key construction manufacturing client. We have a key opportunity to join the Quality team as a Quality Engineer.

Based at their Flintshire head office the role will have 2 broad areas of responsibility.

1) System Development, Administration, and Maintenance of the SharePoint QMS

2) Support for the Quality Assurance of products within PV Module Assembly, Ancillaries and Powder Coating, and Panel and AWP Panel manufacturing areas.

The successful candidate will be involved with all Quality Assurance aspects of New Product Introduction, Manufacturing Processing, Customer Service and Customer Warranty.

Experience, knowledge and understanding of Quality Management System requirement and applicable standards as well as implementation of quality management techniques within manufacturing processes is desirable but not essential.

Reporting directly to the Quality Manager the postholder will be required to detect and implement key quality changes and look to development a continuous improvement culture.

Personal Specification

The preferred candidate will have a quality or process capability background with a broad experience of general manufacturing.

Strong leadership skills with a drive for results are a key component for this role.

Six Sigma and a qualification in a technical subject is preferred and ideally the postholder with have already gained a Quality Management accreditation.
