Quality Lead, Medical Devices

Location: North Yorkshire

Type: FTC 18 months

Salary: £45,000

Additional: Healthcare, Company Pension, Bonus, Gym , Parking onsite etc

Our Client are experiencing major growth at this time and looking to appoint and experienced QL who will play a key role in the tech transfer stage of a major site move.

Reporting to the Head of Quality the QL will:

  • Manage Quality Operations for Project X - Quality Engineering, In Process Quality Assurance (IPQA) & Technical Specialists

  • Work in partnership with Operations to improve processes and systems across the supply chain and as part of technology transfer

  • Own, monitor and improve key operational Quality Systems as follows:

  • Transition from site X QMS to Yorkshire QMS such as :

  • Deviation / CAPA / Non-conforming product

  • Validation

  • Risk management

  • Product Quality Plans and control strategies

  • Supplier Qualification and Assurance

  • Ownership of manufactured Finished Goods Specifications

  • Lead key transactional process re project

  • Represent Quality function on key project teams (eg new product introduction / process changes)

  • Deputise for Quality Manager as required

  • Comply with site Health and Safety procedures.

The Person:

  • Will hold a Degree in a relevant Scientific/ technical discipline

  • Significant QA experience within a Medical Devices, Pharmaceutical or Personal Care background

  • Extended CAPA, Non Conformance, Validation, Risk Management experience required

  • Will have managed or supervised teams
