Responsible for coordinating maintenance and repair work with Maintenance Department, along with supervision of maintenance personnel in their area. Engineer is responsible for maintaining and improving site processes and equipment.
Responsibilities: Develop improvements in processes in manufacturing costs. Ensure new products are launched in a timely manner Responsible for tooling and programming of CNC robotic tube benders. Ensure that effective mistake proof devices are on all pieces of equipment. Maintain quality levels and make improvements to increase levels of quality. Oversee maintenance activities on individual projects to ensure installations are made in a timely manner. Ensure ample stock levels are maintained for repair parts. Develop new processes to maintain TI Automotive as leader in the tube fabrication industry. Write Capital Expenditure requests for capital projects. Ensure that all pieces of equipment are process capable. Develop process failure mode effects analysis (PFMEA) for all processes. Performs related duties and special projects as assigned.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent manufacturing experience. Automotive manufacturing environment a plus.
