Site Relocation Project Manager

Salary: Competitive and flexible

Type: Full-time, inside IR35, 2-year contract with a view to be permanent

Location: Warrington, Cheshire

Russell Taylor Group are currently recruiting for a project manager in Warrington to help facilitate a high-value project relocating a large facility into two much larger sites, doubling the company's size. We are after a project manager with significant experience with large-value CAPEX projects including technical construction, relocation, or asset transfer.

The Role:

  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Ensure that all project aims are delivered on time, within scope and budget
  • Co-ordinate project meetings amongst key stakeholders to ensure the project remains on track
  • Measure and track performance using appropriate project management tools and techniques
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation of personnel, site equipment and site management
  • Perform risk management to minimise potential project risks
  • Establish, manage and maintain the relationship between internal and external customers
  • Liaise with internal customers to take detailed briefs and clarify specific requirements of the project
  • Coordinate internal resources and third party vendors for the execution of multiple aims and objectives

The person:

  • Experience with site relocation, asset transfer, decommissioning or construction is necessary for this role, for example, factories, warehouses, office complexes, apartment buildings,
  • Ability to communicate at all levels with stakeholders,
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
  • The desire for a permanent role at a large and growing company as a project manager, not just a short project,
  • Proficient in project management tools,
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Master, Prince2, or similar project management qualification,
  • Happy to be on-site and present for project activities.
